Baker Website and Branding – Jessica Lauren Cakes

Jessica got in touch with Ellie (Joyful Creative) when she felt like her current branding wasn’t showing off her skills and connecting with her audience. Ellie and Jessica stripped everything back and started again, creating a classical and pretty style.

As a baker, the website and branding needed to appeal to Jessica’s wide audience, from traditional iced wedding cakes, the modern naked cake to fun children’s birthday cakes. After the branding was complete, Jessica knew her current website wasn’t up to scratch and she wanted the full branding and design treatment!

Jessica wrote her own content using our DIY Your Copy workbook and did a fantastic job. Gemma created a brand new website to take Jessica Lauren Cakes from clunky and glitchy to clean and easy to use! Jessica’s customers can easily find the services they are looking for and Jessica has reported a large increase in orders since relaunching.

Jessica uses her own WordPress hosting and, with training from us, maintains her website by herself including managing her WooCommerce stock… so there’s no extra monthly cost!
